Inside /Outside

Sometimes, late in the evenings, I like to let my pencil go where it wants. I don't have any preconceptions about these drawings. This one started with a face. I started adding shapes and a theme began to emerge with window frames and a sense of inside/outside. I liked the ambiguity of the spaces. Eventually, I decided to make the woman pregnant, in keeping with the idea of inside/outside.
