Poor Mr. Rooster thought he could catch a few extra winks, but not with this lively brood! Hope to see your marvelously colored version of this, which I know will be more than worth waiting for! :o)
Thank you so much Michele! Interesting take you have. I was think Mr. Rooster was being sort of a slacker. lol!
Thank you, Lisa, Beth Anne, Diane, Karen and Ann Marie! You are all very kind! Hope it doesn't sound boastful for me to say, I can't wait to see it in color too! Then it will be done. Glad you liked the little chickie and the sun coming up.
Thank you sketched out!
All such nice comments. I'm very grateful. Thanks for stopping by!
Ooooh I hadn't noticed you illustrated Asleep. So darn cute and clever! So I guess you'll have to be doing the color soon. There looks to be a crowd waiting.
Hi June, Long story short... the color version isn't coming at all. Sorry! I'm into some other things right now. Working on an ebook and painting on canvas. So, this piece and a couple of others that I started, but didn't finish for IF are on hold for now. So many projects, so little time. If and when I get that ebook done, I'll have lots to blog about! Hopefully some ebook baby steps too! Thanks for your interest, June! Sorry to let you down! Big changes going on here - I hope!
Not to worry about it all being on hold... maybe this will give me some time to catch up! Good luck with all you are working on :o) I'll keep looking in on the blog to see what is new.

I love how you angled the composition. Feels very dynamic. And besides that it's utterly charming!

Wonderful. I love the tones, the subject is fantastic, and I can't wait to see it in color, but even if you never do that it is wonderful as it is.
Ha- I love slacker rooster. Are you writing a story about the rooster who wouldn't crow?

Thank you Judy! One might never guess, but I'm itching to get back to work. Many pots on the stove.
So... how is the colour version coming along Marion? I'm learning from your digital-lead, so please do keep sharing :o)
