Snow! We haven't had any here this year - yet. But, it sure feels like it could happen any minute. Very cold here! Well, it is December. This is a section of a piece that I did years ago. I still like parts of it, but I'd like to do the whole of it over again. It's on the 'to do' list. Pretty long list this time of year. And for some reason, there's a big backlog right now. So much artwork I'd like to do! So many ideas, so little time. But that's a good thing, even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes. Sigh..... In the meantime, here's a little piece of my past. Happy winter!

Vundebar!
love your snow people Marion! Makes me want to do a snowman/woman too.
What a cute pair of snowfolk, a rare winter treat to find one, let alone two! They're almost mythical in this part of the country! Happy Holidays! :o)
Great Marion. I love the soft light and the perspective. You've captured the quiet of when it's softly snowing
It's lovely, Marion! It's fun to see both your old and new work.
I really like it and don't know why you would want to do it over.
Oh, thank you so much everyone! Danke, BB! Karen and Michele, it's so nice to hear from you. Thank you so much for stopping by. I have been sorely missing Illustration Friday. Deadlines and holiday stuff kind of took over. I'm fascinated that snowpeople are almost mythical where you live, Michele. I feel the same way and I grew up near Buffalo, NY!
I love what you said, Liza and Anne Marie! Thank you so much!
And thank you too Dolores! Actually, this is a part of the bigger piece that I do like. The rest (that you can't see) is what I'd like to change. It's interesting to me to be able to take a cropped section out of another bigger piece. Sometimes I like the crops better. So, I should learn from that!
Thanks again everyone! And, as always, thanks for stopping by!
This is just beautiful Marion!
No snow here yet, either.
I really love this piece Marion! The warm light coming from the left is glorious and your snow folks are really fun, too!
Aww, thanks so much Sarah and Phyllis!
