Lab Color converted to RGB Mode in Photoshop

This image was scanned as Lab color, then coverted to RGB mode in Photoshop. Seems good to me! But wonder how it looks on other people's monitors. HHhmmmm.

Hi Marion, this image does look the most ready for prime time. As for what is the best color space for scanning, I have no idea. I scan in RGB, tweak as necessary with Levels, and go from there. The best book I know of for discussions of color in Photoshop is Real World Photoshop by David Blatner and Bruce Fraser.

Thank you Sherry and Loreen! I had fun with this piece. It was a blog header on my character blog. But, I had to redo it to use it on my new website. Wrong proportions. Had to add a couple more little characters. Ah well...
Thanks for the book suggestion Loreen! I just read a review and it looks great. Will plan to order it tomorrow. Maybe first see if I can get it at the library, but it sounds like a good reference source that I might want to own.
Thanks again!
