Illustration Friday Twofer - Caged and Star Gazing

This week's Illustration Friday prompt is Star Gazing. I have a picture that fits that. Kind of. I've posted it below. I really wanted to do last week's prompt which was Caged, but didn't have time to finish it then. So, here's my illo for Caged, above. I'm trying to achieve a few things in this piece - softer edges, a feeling of atmosphere and a strong sense of light.

The illustration that I am posting for Star Gazing (below) is one a did awhile back.
It was for a fundraiser for "Powered by Girl." You can read more about it here.

Both are wonderful, and different from each other, sweet! That first one is my favorite though. Magic for sure.

Thanks Michele and Breadwig! I'm glad you liked the first one, Breadwig. I like it better too.

Marion, this is a great concept for the prompt and ironically works for this week's "atmosphere," too. Did you have a psychic moment there? :)
Both are intriguing pieces!

Thank you so much, Ann Marie and Susan! Much appreciated. It is ironic that it could fit this week's topic, Anne Marie. It would be nice if that happened again, because I will not make the deadline this week unless some sort of miracle happens in the next 3 hours. Oh well, IF helps me to keep producing new work. So that, in itself, is good! Thanks again!
