The Tortoise and the Hare

This is a pretty polished sketch. I really should show how many it takes to get to this point - the much looser, sloppier ones.

Another single character - out of context. This guy changed the most in the finish.

I don't usually draw characters by themselves when I have a scene in mind. I try to develop the character within the compositional sketches. But this time, I thought I'd do just a hare and see what happened. He evolved a bit along the way.
